I have been looking for a tv on this site for ages but people go bidding mad and end up paying more for a refurb, scratched, returned or ex-display than they would new. If they only would google shop the make of the tv they would find the cost new in other shops are way cheaper than the in store commmet price. Review 2 - Posted Jul 2009: My daughter purchased a Samsung side by side fridge freezer from Comet on 7th June just what she wanted. Unfortunately the freezer side broke down twice. Comet sent out an engineer and she was advised that it was a gas fault. The fridge freeezer was replaced, but both comet and samsung say that she has no claim for loss of food which was considerable. Very disgruntled with after sales service Review 3 - Posted Aug 2008: Hve visted their auction website over a long period of time now and feel everyone should perhaps be weary about it. I saved a whole load of auctions on my watch list only to find everyone ending at just a fraction below RRP. Also look at the user names of the bidders and you'll see a pattern forming. I think they should be investigated as I feel there is some shilling going on via Comet....
