Overview: If you live in the UK and don't like the long delivery times of other large online book retailers, this company is a local option with over 3.2 million titles available for order. If they have no data on where your title is available, they'll add your request to an "Out of Print Books Wanted" list, where it will stay active for three months. At first, it just complemented the retail store, but in 1999 added all titles printed in the UK, which at the time was over one million. It has been profiled in the Harper Collins book, "Top UK Companies of the Future". This is apparently the largest range of books and other titles available through a European website.

Placed an order for a year's subscription to National Geographic in November 2005 and payment was taken. It is now March 2006 and no magazines have been received. Several emails were ignored and I have now finally received an answer stating that a magazine will be received in April - 5 months after payment. We will see. Review 2 - Posted Oct 2005: Web site and prices are good, but delivery and customer service leave much to be desired. I ordered a book 8 days ago with advertised dispatch within 1-2 working days. It has not yet been sent.
