It is a lovely location apart from the view of Sellafield Nuclear Power Station. From day one there were lots of problems. 1. Unable to unlock the door from the inside. 2. No battery in the smoke detector. 3. Bare wires in the kids bedroom light. 4. Private Club house disgusting, thick smoke throughout from smokers. Review 2 - Posted Mar 2004: Would recommend that you go during peak times as it seems a little dead otherwise. They still have plenty of facilities during off pead, it's just that they don't seem as enjoyable when you're the only ones watching the show! Review 3 - Posted Aug 2004: golden sands, i have been to this park religiosuly every year and have never been dissapointed,haven should be named heaven, i am a teenager and there is so much to do for all ages,you literally fall in love with the staff! haven is just the place for the perfect holiday!im going on saturday!
